Mark has been a member of the National Speakers Association for 35 years and served as the national president in 2007-2008. He earned the CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) designation.

Mark is the author of the books, Never Be the Same and his underground bestselling book, Growing Your Business. He recently co-authored Build Your Consulting Practice with Henry DeVries. Never Be the Same was inspired by his five hundred mile walk across Northern Spain in 2008. He went back and walked the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage in 2014 and 2017. He is slated to walk his fourth Camino in 2020 with his wife, Sweet Ann.

He is the chairman of the board and co-founder of Indie Books International. Indie Books is headquartered out of Southern California and to date has worked with over 100 authors on publishing their business books.
